Did you know Dr. Shawn is Plano’s only holistic/functional medicine veterinarian? That’s right, Dr. Shawn offers Functional Medicine, Chinese/Western Herbology, Homeopathy, Homotoxicology, Nutritional Therapies, in addition to conventional therapies. He also treats a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and exotic pets (birds, reptiles, small mammals, etc.)

Dr. Shawn started offering “alternative” treatments for pets with allergies to reduce and eliminate their need for drugs that were harming his patients and not solving their skin issues. Word of his success spread, and soon he began offering these unique therapies for pets with all medical problems, including cancer, seizures, arthritis, bladder, and GI diseases. He then developed his own line of unique herbal and nutritional products to provide even better treatment options. Throughout his 30 years in Plano, he also became an award-winning author and radio show host for Martha Stewart.
